Although she was only a toddler when Grandma Babe passed away and has no memory of her, my grandmother's presence continues to shape our family in quiet ways. The unseen tree, visible only through its shadow, symbolizes how those we love remain with us even after they are gone.

The flowers represent my mother, who is enjoying retirement while becoming increasingly aware of the finite nature of time.
